Every question is answered Yes, No or N/A. Each No is flagged and asks for a photo and a comment, so the finding arrives with its evidence.
Temperature
- 1Display temperature is within the required range
- 2A calibrated probe agrees with the display
- 3Alarms and data loggers are working
Condition
- 4Doors and seals close properly
- 5There is no ice build-up, leaks or condensation
- 6Product is stored off the floor and away from walls
- 7Air circulation is not blocked
Product and records
- 8Product is rotated first in, first out
- 9Product is covered and labelled with dates
- 10Temperature is recorded at the required times
- 11Any out-of-range reading led to action and product assessment
When to use it
- Every day, before first use or at the start of the shift.
- The person responsible for the area or equipment answers each question on the spot.
- Each record starts with: Store or unit.
How it is scored
The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 90. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted inspection shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
