Get a free Lean Basics certificate

Team leaders, supervisors, new CI and process engineers, students, and anyone who wants a record that they learned the basics of lean. You do not need any earlier lean training, and you do not need a work email address.

Once you have read the seven lessons, plan on about 20 minutes: the 14 question knowledge check, then the 24 statement maturity assessment, then your name and email. You can read the lessons on this site first, or take the email course.

Nothing. The course, the knowledge check, the assessment and the certificate are free. We ask for your name as it should appear on the certificate and an email address to send it to.

12 of 14 questions right, which is 80 percent. Each question comes from one of the seven lessons, two from each. If you do not pass, you see your score and which lessons to read again. The assessment that follows has no pass mark.

Yes, as many times as you like. The answer options come in a new order each time, so you read each one again instead of remembering a position.

No. It is a certificate of completion for a free course from LeanSuite. It shows that you finished Lean in 7 days and passed the knowledge check. It is not an accredited qualification, and it is not a Lean Six Sigma belt or a credential from a certification body.

Open your certificate page and choose Add to LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn opens its form for licenses and certifications with the name, issuer, date, certificate ID and link already filled in. Check it and save. Share on LinkedIn posts the page, and Download badge gives you a square image for a post or a profile banner.

Anyone who has the link. The page shows your name, the date and the certificate ID, and search engines are told not to index it. It never shows your email address, your quiz answers or your assessment result.

It is part of the course package, so you take it to get the certificate, but it has no pass mark. Your result, with a score for each dimension and a next step, is shown to you after the last step and sent in your email. It is a self-assessment, so it is not printed on the certificate.
