Before work
- 1The contractor has been inducted and site rules explained

- 3The work permit or risk assessment covers this job
During work
- 4Workers wear the right PPE
- 5Lockout, hot work and confined space rules are followed where relevant
- 6The work area is barricaded and signed
- 7Tools and equipment are in good condition
- 8Housekeeping in the work area is good
After work
- 9The area is left clean and safe
- 10Waste is removed
- 11Issues are reported and closed with the contractor
When to use it
- When it is due on your audit programme, or after a change or a problem.
- An auditor or leader answers each question from what they see, hear and read in the area.
- Each record starts with: Contractor, Job or location.
How it is scored
The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 80. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted audit shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
