Every question is answered Yes, No or N/A. Each No is flagged and asks for a photo and a comment, so the finding arrives with its evidence.

Red tagging

  1. 1Unneeded items found in the area are red-tagged
  2. 2Each tag shows the item, date, location and reason
  3. 3Items are tagged by people from the area, not by one person

Red tag area

  1. 4Tagged items are in the marked red tag area
  2. 5The area is tidy and items are not piling up
  3. 6A decision date is on each item

Decisions

  1. 7Items are dealt with by their decision date (keep, move, sell, scrap)
  2. 8The log is up to date
  3. 9Space freed is put to use or recorded

When to use it

  • Once a month.
  • An auditor or leader answers each question from what they see, hear and read in the area.
  • Each record starts with: Area.

How it is scored

The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 80. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted audit shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
