Every question is answered Yes, No or N/A. Each No is flagged and asks for a photo and a comment, so the finding arrives with its evidence.
Material and paperwork
- 1All product, packaging and labels from the previous run are removed
- 2Previous paperwork and records are removed or filed
- 3No unidentified items are left on or around the line
Equipment
- 4Equipment is clean to the required standard
- 5Counters, printers and coders are reset to the new product
- 6Reject bins and waste are empty
Release
- 7A second person checked the line
- 8The check is signed and dated
- 9Production starts only after the line is released
When to use it
- When it is due on your audit programme, or after a change or a problem.
- The person responsible for the area or equipment answers each question on the spot.
- Each record starts with: Line, Next product or batch.
How it is scored
The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 90. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted inspection shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
