Every question is answered Yes, No or N/A. Each No is flagged and asks for a photo and a comment, so the finding arrives with its evidence.
Drains and run-off
- 1Stormwater drains are clear and labelled
- 2There is no oil sheen, discolouration or odour in drains or run-off
- 3Drain covers or spill protection are in place at risk areas
Outdoor storage
- 4Chemicals, fuel and waste outdoors are in bunded or covered areas
- 5Containers are closed and not leaking
- 6Waste skips and bins are covered and not overflowing
Housekeeping and records
- 7Loading areas are clean and spill kits are close by
- 8The site boundary is free of litter and dumping
- 9Inspection records are up to date and actions are closed

- Once a month.
- The person responsible for the area or equipment answers each question on the spot.
- Each record starts with: Site area.
How it is scored
The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 90. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted inspection shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
