The 8 questions in the inspection
Every question is answered Yes, No or N/A. Each No is flagged and asks for a photo and a comment, so the finding arrives with its evidence.
Visual check
- 1Surfaces are visibly clean, with no residue, product or film
- 2Drains, corners, seals and hard-to-reach places are clean
- 3Equipment is reassembled correctly after cleaning
Verification
- 4Chemicals were used at the right concentration and contact time
- 5Rinse water or residue test result is acceptable
- 6ATP or other verification result is within the limit (where used)
Release
- 7Cleaning records are complete and signed
- 8The area was released by an authorised person before production restarted
When to use it
- Every day, before first use or at the start of the shift.
- The person responsible for the area or equipment answers each question on the spot.
- Each record starts with: Line or area, Cleaning completed by.
How it is scored
The template is built with points per answer and a pass mark of 90. In this library every audit is set to pass at 80 and every inspection at 90. Each submitted inspection shows its score and pass or fail, and every No is flagged with its photo and comment.
