Buyer's guide
Best leader standard work software
Short answer: Choose by what happens when a routine is missed and where the findings go. Tervene, TeamGuru and EviView name leader standard work as a product: Tervene schedules and reminds and shows adherence next to Gemba walks and layered process audits, TeamGuru shows skipped routines and adherence rates and ticks off audits automatically, and EviView flags missed steps for escalation. LeanSuite schedules leaders' checklists, audits, SOPs and OPLs in Daily Standard Work, shows missed checks in red and turns failed answers into tags or kaizens. KaiNexus builds leader routines into its daily management, UTrakk puts them in a digital agenda, and Leader Standard OS is a low-cost app for one leader. A paper or spreadsheet template works for a single team.
Who wrote this: LeanSuite publishes this guide, and LeanSuite is one of the seven products on it. It is listed first because it is our product; the others follow in alphabetical order, which is not a ranking. Every other product is described only from its own public pages, and each entry says where that product fits better than ours.

How we chose these tools
Leader standard work is the written routine of what each leader checks every day, week and month (Gemba walks, layered audits, board reviews, tier meetings) so the lean system keeps running. Software for it schedules those routines, shows when they are done or missed, and turns what leaders find into actions. Each product on this list meets all of these:
Leader routines are a feature
The vendor's own pages describe scheduled routines for leaders, by name as leader standard work or as standardized daily, weekly and monthly leader tasks.
Done or missed is visible
Completion, adherence or missed routines can be seen, so the routine is checked, not just written down.
Findings become actions
What a leader finds on a walk or audit can become an action, an escalation or a project, except where the table says not published.

Seven leader standard work tools: LeanSuite first, then alphabetical
1. LeanSuite
Lean manufacturing software without a module called leader standard work: leaders' routines run in Daily Standard Work, which schedules the checklists, audits, SOPs and OPLs assigned to each person, role or machine with a repeat rule, such as every shift, daily, weekly or monthly. Each leader sees their checks on a calendar or Kanban board, assignees get an email reminder before an inspection is due, and missed items show in red. Gemba walk checklists, layered process audits and standard work audits are built in Lean Creator or drafted by AI, completed on a phone or tablet with photo evidence where required, and scored pass or fail; rules on an answer can raise a tag, an idea or a Kaizen, so a failed check becomes a tracked action, and a live dashboard shows completion across the plant. Daily Standard Work and audit results can be shown on Lean Studio tier meeting boards next to the KPIs, and Daily Issue Management escalates problems from tier 1 to tier 2 or 3. One flat price per facility with unlimited users; a 90-day pilot costs $3,000 per facility.
Best for: Plants that want leaders' walks, audits and checks scheduled, chased when missed and turned into actions, in the same platform as tier meetings and kaizen.
2. EviView
Connected worker software from EviView in Cork, Ireland, founded in 2015, with a strong base in pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing. Its leader standard work starts each shift with a defined routine, has leaders complete key tasks on digital checklists, flags missed actions for escalation automatically, triggers follow-up when steps are missed, links daily leader actions to KPIs and logs them for compliance and reviews. Routines are role-based checklists for each department, next to tier boards, actions and escalations, shift handover, audits and EHS. It is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified and supports SAML single sign-on. Pricing is not published.
Best for: Regulated plants that want missed leader routines escalated automatically and logged for compliance.
3. KaiNexus
Continuous improvement software founded in 2009. Its daily management software standardizes leaders' daily, weekly and monthly tasks, it says leader standard work routines are built into the platform rather than added from a separate tool, and it lists habit tracking. Any checklist can be digitized, with issues captured and follow-up tasks assigned, and an issue found on a Gemba walk can become a huddle topic or an improvement project. Tiered huddles, ideas, projects, KPIs and strategy deployment are in the same platform, KaiNexus Intelligence adds AI summaries, and an August 2026 release added features it calls Smart Create, Checkpoints and Nudges. It publishes a 2026 SOC 2 Type 2 report, supports SAML 2.0 single sign-on and has iOS and Android apps. Pricing is quoted.
Best for: Organizations that want leader routines inside a wider improvement program with huddles and projects.
4. Leader Standard OS
An app from OAAI Apps that calls itself the operating system for operational leaders. A leader tracks standard work routines across seven cadence tiers with streaks, and on the Pro plan logs Gemba walks across safety, quality, delivery, people, process and morale, escalations with SLA tracking and one-to-one coaching sessions. A discipline score grades the leader A to F across cadence, Gemba, escalations and coaching, and reports export to PDF and Excel. It runs on iOS and the web. It publishes pricing: a free plan, Pro at $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and custom team pricing from 5 seats. No security certification or single sign-on is stated.
Best for: A single leader who wants to keep their own routine on a phone, at a low published price.
5. TeamGuru
Lean management software from Team Solutions in Brno, Czech Republic, founded in 2011. Its leader standard work gives every leadership role a set of daily, weekly and monthly activities: a completed routine is recorded and a skipped one shows, senior leaders see adherence rates across the organization, attending and running meetings count as standard work, and completed audits tick off the matching item automatically. Audits run on frequency and rotation schedules with reminders, and failed checklist items create corrective actions automatically. Tier meetings, escalation, kaizen ideas, a skill matrix, KPI dashboards and X-matrix strategy deployment are in the same product, in a mobile-optimized web app. It states SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001; single sign-on is on its Unlimited plan, and all three plans are quoted.
Best for: Organizations that want leader standard work adherence rolled up across sites, next to audits and strategy deployment.
6. Tervene
Connected leader software founded in 2015, with leader standard work as one of its main solutions. Leaders get schedules for recurring tasks (daily checks, data logs, audits, team meetings, shift handovers and performance reviews), each assigned to a person, automatic reminders about upcoming events, and a view of adherence and task completion; forms, photos and actions are completed from a phone or tablet. Structured Gemba walk checklists with daily, weekly, monthly or custom frequencies, layered process audits with corrective actions, and tiered meetings at Tier 1, 2 and 3 are in the same platform, with custom dashboards. It holds ISO 27001 certification, offers a SOC 2 Type 2 report on request and supports SSO and two-factor authentication. Pricing is quoted by users and sites.
Best for: Plants whose lean system runs on leader standard work, Gemba walks and layered process audits.
7. UTrakk
A daily management system from Proaction International in Montreal, which is now part of dss+. Leaders structure their responsibilities with scheduled tasks and routines in a digital agenda, and standard checklists can be attached to the floor tours and audits planned in it. Meeting management plans meetings and rituals and syncs them with calendars, and dashboards, project tracking, coaching plans and a knowledge center for SOPs and training documents are other modules. It is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Canada. Pricing, security certifications and single sign-on are not published on its site.
Best for: Companies working with dss+ (formerly Proaction) that want leaders' agendas, floor tours and meetings in one system.

Where LeanSuite is different
This part is about our own product, so read it as LeanSuite's pitch; the entries above describe every other tool from its own pages. Each point links to the LeanSuite page that shows it.
Standard work that shows when it is missed
Daily Standard Work assigns a checklist to a person, a role or a machine and repeats it every shift, daily, weekly or monthly. Missed checks show in red, and a failed check can raise a tag automatically.
Checklists and Daily Standard WorkEscalate up, reply down
An item Tier 1 can't solve goes to the Tier 2 board with its photos, notes and history, and the answer is sent back down to the tier that raised it. Owners, due dates and reminders follow it to closure.
Tiered meetingsImprovement next to the daily work
Issues, audits, tiered meetings, skills and training sit in the same platform. A failed audit question can become a new kaizen, and when you launch a kaizen or engineering project you see who has the skills it needs.
How the modules connectOperators sign in with an employee ID
Frontline staff sign in with an employee ID or username on the mobile app or a shared tablet, with no company email needed. Office staff use SAML 2.0 or OAuth single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
Security and sign-inA 90-day pilot at a published price
$3,000 per facility for 90 days, with the first module live in under a week. Pricing is per facility with unlimited users.
