Dozuki alternatives

Short answer: Dozuki is a connected worker platform built on media-rich work instructions, with training, a live skills matrix, TWI job breakdowns and AI that turns video and documents into guides; it does not publish prices. The closest alternatives on work instructions are Azumuta (high-mix assembly with variants and connected torque tools), VKS (simple visual instructions in a browser, with a trial) and Poka (a wider connected worker suite with named ERP and MES connectors). Tulip suits teams that build their own apps, at a published price per interface, and Augmentir leads with AI agents and skill-adaptive instructions. LeanSuite drafts instructions from a video of your best operator and ties each sign-off to the skills matrix, inside a lean platform whose improvement projects run any method and any project type.

Who wrote this: LeanSuite publishes this page and is one of the options on it. It is listed first because it is our product; the others follow in alphabetical order, which is not a ranking. Every other product, Dozuki included, is described only from its own public pages, and the "Is LeanSuite right for you?" section says when each of them, Dozuki included, is the better choice.

Six alternatives to Dozuki: LeanSuite first, then alphabetical

  1. 1. LeanSuite

Lean manufacturing software whose AI writes work instructions from a video of your best operator: numbered steps with the clearest frame for each, and callouts for PPE, torque tools and inspection points. A paper or PDF procedure can also be turned into a draft. Drafts can be translated with your glossary locked and go to engineering, EHS and quality for e-signature with an audit trail; each instruction has an owner, a review date with reminders and a version history. Instructions are assigned to people, a role or a workstation, operators sign on a tablet after signing in with an employee ID, and each sign-off counts toward their level on the Skill Matrix. Daily issues, audits, tiered meetings, ideas and kaizen projects in any method sit in the same platform. One flat price per facility with unlimited users; a 90-day pilot costs $3,000 per facility.

Best for: Plants that want work instructions, sign-off and the skills matrix inside the same system as their daily lean and improvement work.

  2. 2. Augmentir

An AI connected worker platform for work instructions, skills, training and remote assist. Its Augie Procedure Studio builds a procedure from an SOP, a video, an image or a one-sentence description, imports whole libraries of PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets, and syncs with SharePoint; procedures can be translated into more than 30 languages. Instructions adapt to each worker's skill level and can carry images, video and AR, and AI checks steps and photos. Skills get automatic and manual endorsements with alerts for expiring skills. It runs on iOS and Android phones and tablets and on smart glasses, with an offline mode. Pricing is not published (a request form), and single sign-on is an add-on. A May 2026 post on its site says Augmentir is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant.

Best for: Teams that want AI agents, conversational authoring and instructions that adapt to each worker's skill level, including on smart glasses.

  3. 3. Azumuta

Work instructions, quality checks and a skill matrix for discrete assembly. Steps carry images, video, 3D models, parameters and IF/THEN logic, with product variants and a template library, and Azumuta Intelligence turns Word, PowerPoint, Excel or PDF files, video and audio into steps and translates them. Changes are approved by e-signature with a revision history, operators can give feedback on an instruction, and instructions adjust to the operator's skill level. Its integrations catalogue names ERPs such as SAP, Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and many torque tools and scanners. It runs on iOS and Android. Pricing is a custom quote, monthly or annual.

Best for: High-mix assembly that needs product variants, parameters and connected torque tools in the instructions.

  4. 4. Poka

A connected worker suite for manufacturing: work instructions, skills, forms, issues, huddle boards and communications. Experts capture how they work in video, photos and voice notes, and AI converts existing PDFs and videos into step-by-step instructions, with built-in version control. Skills cover scored exams, SME endorsements and recertification policies. Its integrations page names ERPs (IFS, SAP, Oracle, D365, Infor M3, QAD, Sage X3) and MES products (Rockwell, Siemens Opcenter, iBASEt, Apriso), plus more than 1,000 connectors through Poka Automate. It runs on iOS, Android and the web. Pricing is not published. Poka says it is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and supports SAML 2.0 single sign-on.

Best for: Multi-site manufacturers that want instructions, skills, forms and huddle boards in one suite connected to named ERP and MES systems.

  5. 5. Tulip

A no-code platform where engineers build work instruction apps. Steps hold images, video, PDFs and STL models with when-if-then logic, pull work orders from ERP and drawings from PLM, and connect to devices and torque tools; AI Composer builds apps from PDFs. Each new version needs an electronic sign-off before it deploys, and Tulip records which version each operator ran. A skills matrix template is included, but stopping an untrained operator is logic you build into the app. Tulip publishes its prices: $100 (Essentials) or $250 (Professional) per interface per month, billed annually, with a 10-interface minimum. It holds a SOC 2 Type II report, ISO 9001:2015 and FedRAMP Moderate equivalency, and the Tulip Player is now in the Apple App Store as well as on Windows, macOS and Android.

Best for: Engineering teams that want to build their own instruction apps connected to machines and tools, at a published price per interface.

  6. 6. VKS

Visual Knowledge Share, founded in 2012, sells browser-based visual work instructions in Lite, Pro and Enterprise packages. Guides hold pictures, videos and PDFs with interactive annotations, templates and mass updates, and can be translated into more than 30 languages with Google and DeepL; VKS also offers to convert existing instructions with AI as a service. Instructions have automatic version control, approval groups and a revision history, operators can send feedback, and certification records with expiry dates sit alongside. Enterprise adds an API, single sign-on and Active Directory. It runs in a browser on computers, laptops and tablets. Pricing is not published (by package, users and business model), with 30-day online trials and 60-day pilots. It hosts in SOC 2 Type II data centers, with government cloud and on-premises options.

Best for: Teams that want simple visual instructions in a browser, a trial before buying, and on-premises or government cloud hosting.

Where LeanSuite is different

The specifics, each linked to the LeanSuite page that shows it.

  • Work instructions written from a video

Film your best operator and the AI drafts numbered steps with a frame for each, safety and torque callouts and translations. Drafts go to engineering, EHS and quality for e-signature, and operators sign off on a tablet.

    Digital work instructions
  • Controlled documents, signed off per operator

Each work instruction has an owner, a review date with reminders and a version history. Drafts go to engineering, EHS and quality for e-signature, and instructions are assigned to people, a role or a workstation, where operators sign on a tablet.

    Controlled work instructions
  • SOPs and OPLs signed off per person

SOPs, procedures and OPLs are attached to skills and jobs, and employees sign them off digitally on a tablet, so each person has an audit-ready record instead of scanned paper.

    SOPs
  • Levels move up on their own

Signing off the required documents and checks moves a person up the skill levels automatically, and the Job Cover Matrix then shows who is qualified to work in each area.

    Job Cover Matrix
  • Operators sign in with an employee ID

Frontline staff sign in with an employee ID or username on the mobile app or a shared tablet, with no company email needed. Office staff use SAML 2.0 or OAuth single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.

Is LeanSuite right for you?

LeanSuite is likely a fit if

  • Work instructions are one part of a wider lean system you want in one place: daily issues, audits, tiered meetings, ideas, kaizen and skills.
  • You want AI to draft instructions from a video of your best operator and route them for e-signature.
  • Operators should sign in with an employee ID, and each SOP sign-off should move their level on the skills matrix.
  • You want one price per facility with unlimited users, and a 90-day pilot at $3,000 per facility.

Choose another tool if

  • Dozuki: you want a dedicated work instruction and training platform with TWI job breakdowns, 100+ languages and periodic document reviews.
  • Azumuta: you build high-mix products and need variants, parameters and torque tools wired into each step.
  • Poka: you want a broad connected worker suite across many sites with connectors to named ERP and MES systems.
  • Tulip: your engineers want to build their own apps and connect machines and devices, or you need 21 CFR Part 11 e-signatures.
  • Augmentir: AI agents, remote assist and smart glasses matter more to you than a lean system around the instructions.
  • VKS: you want simple visual instructions in a browser, a trial first, or on-premises hosting.

What the 45-minute demo shows

If you are looking past Dozuki, the demo turns a video of one of your operations into a controlled instruction and follows it to the operator's skill record.

Bring one process you want to fix, and how you run it today. We show the same job in LeanSuite and answer your questions.

In the demo

  1. Work instructions drafted from a video of your best operator, sent for e-signature, and signed off per operator on a tablet.
  2. A job profile with its required skills, a trainer signing off an on-the-job check, and the skill level and Job Cover Matrix updating on their own.
  3. A one-point lesson drafted from a before-and-after photo pair, then read, answered and signed at the line from a QR code.

Want to run LeanSuite on your own lines instead? The 90-day pilot is $3,000 per facility, set up by our team, with the first module live in under a week.
